I will treasure these pictures all my days. I sure hope I can have all my photographs in heaven for all eternity! I mean it! My pictures, scrapbooks, and journals are my most prized possessions.
It is not often that I can capture an image like this--I am not a professional photographer. But it was magic on this day. My Grandma Pat has always been so special to me. And now she just cherishes my children. You can tell from this picture. Grandma Pat only had one child, my dad, but she has a true mother heart. She has outlived almost all of her family and friends, and feels fortunate to have made it to being a great grandmother. She now lives in Salt Lake City and we try to go have lunch with her regularly. She makes sure she is a favorite by always having m&m's for her great grandkids and she recently gave me a bunch of dum dum suckers for Sabrina that she loves.
