The Pixie

I love this picture of Sabrina with my mom. She was visiting us this past weekend and has decided that Sabrina is her "pixie." They are pretty enchanted with each other. I love this cotton dress and headband and socks Mom got her this weekend. It's too cold for her to wear this dress without a long sleeved onesie and tights for now but it's a 9 month size so she'll be able to wear it for warm weather, too...we can't wait for Spring around here!

The Skunker Monker

Sabrina's Daddy loves to call Sabrina his "Skunker Monker."
When you look at her expression in this picture, you'll see why she's the Skunker...usually up to something!

Seven Months Old

Ready for the snow, but it's really cold outside and Mom is a wimp so these snow overalls are just for show.

Uncle Garff Garff (Garth) spiked her hair for this picture.

As much as I love it when Sabrina is awake, I love to see her sleeping peacefully.

Big Girls Don't Cry

But I'm just a little girl so it's OK if I cry!
Yes, even this sad, crying face melts this Mama's heart.
Doni't make me use this fist, Mom!

I love the sweet potato puffs stuck on her chin!

Valentine's Day Week

I set aside some of Sabrina's pink and purple outfits to make room for the red clothes on this week of love.
Love the hearts on this onesie from my mom.
Enjoying some snuggle time with my littlest valentine.

Too close, Mom. I need some personal space!

Time Flies When You're Having Fun

Sabrina's just been doing alot of "sitting around!"
It's fun to see her engaged with this activity gym...6 months ago she would just lay passively under it. My how a little bit of time in a baby's life changes things!!
More sittin' around with ducky.
I just liked this picture, and this itty bitty cute bow.
Feeding Sabrina is one of Darren's favorite ways to spend time with her.

President Hinckley

It has been a week since President Hinckley died at age 97. He has been the prophet since I was a junior in high school. His example and teachings have truly blessed my life. He was the prophet during so many of my milestones--when I graduated from high school, started college, went on a mission, graduated from BYU, started my first teaching job, got married in the temple, and gave birth to my first child. I am grateful that he has been reunited with his beloved wife, after being a widower for almost 4 years. Yet it will still be very strange to not see and hear him at General Conference in April. He was and is such a special man. It has been such a blessing to have him as the Prophet for almost 13 years. I know the Lord has blessed, magnified, and sustained him. I am so grateful to be led by living prophets.

Sayings of Sabrina

I have discovered buttons...on every remote in the house and on the phone when Mom is trying to talk! I LOVE buttons!
I can't believe how many pictures my mom can take of me...and how many crazy things she finds to stick on my head!
I am going to crawl any day now....I just know it!

I'm Sitting Up!!

Mom is letting me blog today. My newest trick...I am sitting up on my own now!!
