Sabrina the Baker

Sabrina loves to bake with me. She loves to be right in the middle of the action, cracking the eggs, stirring, dumping in the dry ingredients I have premeasured. We like making treats for Family Home Evening on Monday afternoons. She has grown into her cupcake apron! Baking is a 4 generation love. I grew up baking with my Grandma Pat, my mom, and now my daughter.

Sleep Tight

Sabrina has quite the imagination. Here are her Disney Princess dolls taking a nap on her chair, all snuggly under John's sleep sack. Most of her play revolves around dolls or "cooking." Pink cookies, chicken nuggets, and lemonade are her specialties.

Sabrina in Mommy's sandals. I read in a parenting magazine that shoes are the favorite dress up/make believe item of a preschooler. Too bad I don't have any fun high heels laying around.

Just Because

Sabrina is trying to be a great big sister. I know it is quite hard for her as the oldest child to get a sibling and be cast off the pedestal she was on for the first 2.5 years of her life. She is still my sweet girl, going back and forth between wanting to be a baby like John and wanting to be a big girl. She will always hold a very special place in my heart because she is my first baby-her birth made me a mother.
