Halloween Photo Shoot

My next door neighbor has a daughter 4 months older than Sabrina. She set up a "photo shoot" on her table where each baby could get their picture taken. My favorite thing about these pictures is the plastic tarantula on Sabrina's headband.

Four Generation Picture Day

I was excited to have a daughter in general, but even more to get a 4 generation picture with me, Sabrina, my mom, and my grandma. These are just shots my dad took, not the ones from the photographer. I treasure the one of my grandma holding Sabrina and looking down at her.

Fun at Temple Square

Back in September our good friends Brad and Kathy McGowan came to visit us, and it was their first time to be in Utah. So we took them to BYU to tour Temple Square. I think we got some fun pics.

Fun with Papa and Cookie

My parents (who are Papa and Cookie to their 3 grandkids) came for a short visit a couple weeks ago. It is so fun to see them with Sabrina. My family means so much to me. It is so neat to see the older generation interacting with the newest generation. They were impressed that Sabrina was "reading". I love how all grandparents think their grandchildren are geniuses--and Sabrina's are no exception!

After owning our digital camera for a year, I finally learned more about how it worked by reading the manual! What a novel idea! I was so excited to learn how to make my color pictures sepia and black and white.

Mama's New 'Do

Yesterday I had 8 inches of my hair cut off. Because it was so long, Sabrina was pulling on it so it was in a ponytail 24/7 and I had enough! It has been interesting to watch almost all of my new mom friends chop off their hair during pregnancy or soon after giving birth. I've joined the club with no regrets. I don't know if long hair will permanently be a thing of the past for me, but for now I LOVE not having to use a ponytail holder!!!! Darren and I have known each other for 4 years and he's never seen me with short hair, so it's definitely an adjustment for him but he's glad I'm happy with it.

Three Months Old...Already!

Afternoon at the Pumpkin Patch

It was a gorgeous fall day on Sabrina's 3 month birthday last Thursday and we celebrated by walking through the Vineyard Garden Center's pumpkin patch in Orem. We got some really fun pictures. I carried Sabrina the whole time. I really need to stop being such a wimp andbecome confident in using my infantino soft carrier. We went with our friend Michelle Leckie and her 19 month old son Aiden.

Here is a sneak peek of Sabrina's Halloween costume that my friend Amy Hibbert expertly made without a pattern. She just looked at the picture I sent her from google images and this is what she came up with. She is just amazing! As a side note, Sabrina is her Daddy's "Peanut" so that is what we decided she should be for her first Halloween. :) I'm trying to figure out where I can find a brown colored onesie to go under it. Anyone have any ideas?! I also hope Sabrina doesn't grow too long for it before our ward Halloween party on October 26. I got these fun pictures before Sabrina started crying from being in the costume! If it stays on for only a few minutes, it will be okay--there will be lots of Halloweens to come!
