I Love This Girl

Sabrina is at such a fun age right now. I just love everything about her. She has started talking up a storm--and 1/4 of the time we understand her! She IS speaking in 3-4 word sentences when we can understand her. That has been a relief to me because she is a late talker.

I used to worry about sharing my love with two children, but I read one writer's opinion that resonated with me. She says that you love your first child even more once you have your second. That is alot of love. Not sure how that will work, but I choose to believe it. I am excited to meet our little son. He doesn't kick me as much as Sabrina did, so I wonder if that means he will be a little bit more mellow, and maybe won't have the energy of 3 toddlers when he is two?!

Always smiling, singing, playing, reading, coloring, snacking, jabbering...

The only way I can make it through work every day is to know that Sabrina's Daddy is with her since I can't be.

Payson Onion Days Parade 2009

It is Labor Day morning, and Sabrina is watching for the parade.

There is Uncle Harley marching with the Payson High School Band. He is in the back row, closest to where we were sitting.

It would be neat to talk to some of these people celebrating their 50th high school reunion this year--I would love to hear how Payson has changed and how it has stayed the same.

Darren Got a Job!!

And it is in his field-software development! Yippee yay! It is the job that we thought he would get, but with a twist. The board didn't approve him for fulltime, and our guess is that they are nervous to hire a new full time employee in the current shaky economy. So he is working from home 10 hours a week. We think it has the potential to be more, but we are grateful that it is definitely something. Other than his normal work, he had a conference call that he could do from home, plus a staff meeting he had to go in to the company for and a meeting with a client. But his mom or sister is able to watch Sabrina for the short times he has to leave her. His mom works literally just down the street from his work.
