Down at the Farm

I am now in charge of our ward's play group, and our Relief Society President graciously offered to give us a tour of her family's dairy farm. I jumped at the offer and we had several moms and little ones show up the morning of October 16. (This post is out of order.)

Sabrina walking with my friend, Karen, whose dairy farm we toured.

"Let me down! I want to run and explore!"

"Now where is that calf?"

Karen's husband told us that the cows are milked at 5 am (for about 5 hours) and at 5 pm (for another 5 hours)!

This is a newborn calf being fed with a bottle.

i liked how you narrated the pictures- i'm sure that's what sabrina was thinking! now, you have to tell me which is better: taking a playgroup to a farm or taking the entire second grade to the farm?? haha, just kidding- that's an easy one!! i love reading your blog and seeing how you guys are doing!! take care!

I am so sad that I don't have kids so I can stay home and go to play group with you guys. This looks like it was a great activity. Way to go on finding fun things for your little ones to do.
