President Hinckley
It has been a week since President Hinckley died at age 97. He has been the prophet since I was a junior in high school. His example and teachings have truly blessed my life. He was the prophet during so many of my milestones--when I graduated from high school, started college, went on a mission, graduated from BYU, started my first teaching job, got married in the temple, and gave birth to my first child. I am grateful that he has been reunited with his beloved wife, after being a widower for almost 4 years. Yet it will still be very strange to not see and hear him at General Conference in April. He was and is such a special man. It has been such a blessing to have him as the Prophet for almost 13 years. I know the Lord has blessed, magnified, and sustained him. I am so grateful to be led by living prophets.
